VPN
As part of our mission, ITNAS is committed to a network that is accessible all the time from anywhere. To help us bring that service to you, we employ a secure system called a Virtual Private Network, or VPN. This allows anyone with clearance to access our network from the internet.
This section contains VPN client downloads and instructions, as well as answers to common questions you may have. To see if your computer can access the VPN, check to see if software is available for it.
Request a VPN account
Submit a VPN application form. (Available to Medical Center Network users only.) Include the following additional information under "description" or "details":
- Your operating system (Windows XP, Windows 2000, Mac OS, etc.)
- Identify whether home-based or Medical Center computer image
Within 3 business days of receiving the faxed request, the Customer Support Center will call you or your department contact with your VPN login and password. An email will be sent to you that will include a link to VPN Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and a link to VPN download and installation instructions.
